The Global GF Series Boning Knife is good for removing bones from beef and pork. The thin and flexible blade is suitable for boning cooked or raw food. The Global GF Series of forged knives are drop-forged for durability and heavy use in professional kitchens. Heavier than the G Series, this classic collection of large longer-bladed knives and forks with weighted hollow handles are favoured by professional chefs but would be just as at-home in an amateur’s kitchen!
The blade is constructed of a single piece of steel, with a unique convex edge for unsurpassed performance. The blade is made of the finest stainless steel called CROMOVA 18 (Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium), designed exclusively for GLOBAL that is ice tempered and hardened to hold the razor-sharp edge of the blade longer than any other steel. The ergonomic, stainless steel handles are hollow and filled with sand to achieve perfectly balanced knives and optimal control. The signature dimpled pattern offers a comfortable, slip-resistant grip and the unique shape is perfect for using a pinch grip, it also creates a seamless transition from blade to handle making it very easy to just hand wash and dry, without worrying about stuck food particles.
