Simply fill the bottom chamber with cold water, insert the funnel and fill it with ground espresso (not packed down). Attach the upper part of the pot to the base and place it on the stove to boil. As it boils, coffee will percolate up and out the centre post. The process is finished when the upper pot is full of coffee and the delicious “crema” or light brown espresso foam is visible on top.
